2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

2.1 Waitlist / Early Bird Registration

When you register on scoon-app.com for the Early Bird waitlist, we collect: name, e-mail address, time of registration, and IP address (technically required for rate limiting).

Purpose: Managing the waitlist and sending your personal Early Access link.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

Retention: Until deletion on request or 12 months after the public app release.

2.2 User Account (after app launch)

After launch, the following data is processed for accounts: name, e-mail, uploaded photos, spot data, location data (only with explicit consent). Detailed information will be provided in the in-app privacy policy.

2.3 Technical Data / Server Logs

Server log files are stored automatically: IP address, browser type, OS, referrer URL, access time. These are used solely for technical operation and deleted after 14 days.

3. CAPTCHA (captcha.eu)

We use captcha.eu, a GDPR-compliant CAPTCHA service without Google technology. captcha.eu processes no personal data and sets no tracking cookies. Further information: captcha.eu/datenschutz/

4. Hosting

This website is hosted on servers of itanic GmbH and/or European hosting providers. All servers are located within the European Union. No transfer of data to third countries takes place.

5. No Disclosure to Third Parties

Your data will not be sold or shared for advertising purposes. Disclosure only occurs when legally required or with your explicit consent.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), and withdrawal of consent at any time.

8. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Data transmission is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.

9. Cookies

This website uses no tracking or analytics cookies. Only technically necessary session cookies are used, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
